RERA Compliance Statement
MyPropertyBuy is committed to full compliance with the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA).
We operate as a real estate advertising and listings platform. Where a project falls under the purview of RERA, we require the advertiser to provide a valid RERA registration number, and we encourage every buyer to independently verify that number on their State RERA Authority portal before making any payment or commitment.
As part of our commitment, we:
- Require agents and developers advertising RERA-registrable projects to declare their RERA registration details.
- Display RERA registration numbers on listings wherever they are provided to us by the advertiser.
- Never act as a party to any sale transaction — all agreements are entered into directly between buyers and sellers or their authorised representatives.
- Promptly review and act on reports of listings that appear to misrepresent RERA status.
Important:A listing appearing on MyPropertyBuy is not an endorsement of the project's legal or RERA status. Buyers must satisfy themselves of a project's registration and approvals before transacting. You can look up any project or agent on your State RERA Authority's official website.
Verified Agent Badge
When you see the Verified Agent badge on a listing or agent profile, it means that agent has completed our identity and credential verification process. Specifically, a verified agent has:
- Confirmed their identity with a government-issued photo ID.
- Provided valid contact details that we have checked are reachable.
- Declared their brokerage or agency affiliation and, where applicable, their RERA agent registration number.
- Agreed to our listing standards and code of conduct.
The badge tells you that we have taken reasonable steps to confirm the agent is a real, contactable professional. It is not a guarantee of the accuracy of any individual listing, the condition of a property, or the outcome of a transaction. Always carry out your own due diligence, view properties in person, and verify documents independently.
